NZ ISP with Emersive Networks & VoIP

This article will be used to summarize the information related to Emersive Network components and popular NZ ISPs and VoIP providers.

Recommended approach as well as general information will be provided.

RGW* - ISP provided router/modem.

** Tagged VLAN 10 should be created and assigned on LAN interface of Emersive router ( eth2/re2)

to accommodate RGW devices provided by ISP.

RGW should be connected directly to ONT for ISP to troubleshoot any the  VoIP or connectivity issues.

Once troubleshooting is  completed the device can be reconnected to port 2(LAN) on Emersive router to restore normal operation.

Cisco SPA112***- Appliance required to enable phone service
